There are many problems which are discussed and must be solved on an international level. Take for instance the problem of environmental pollution. Not one nation can solve this problem on its own as industries in other nations contribute to the problems resulting from pollution. And, just to mention another area in which global cooperation is essential, think of the dangers of the great infectuous and fatal diseases.
There is yet another global problem, which mankind has to face up to: The lack of real good will, trust and honesty, that continually ruins relations between men everywhere. The noblest efforts for peace and righteousness are hindered and neutralised by uncontrolable outbreaks of hatred and violence. Don't you agree that man himself is the rootproblem. He needs to be renewed in his inner man. Better laws and wiser regulations will not make this world a better place to live in but in the final analysis: only better men.
Having respect for all efforts to solve problems which effect mankind globally, we still dare to believe that the Jewish Messiah Jesus Christ, who lived just about twothousand years ago, had the message of a way of life that has all the unique potential to bring about salvation of mankind from the pit of destruction it is heading to. The message of Jesus Christ was that man has to be reborn, receiving a new heart by the Spirit of God. This new spirit will enable man to llive according to the good and healthy will of the Creator. Jesus Christ gave the perfect code for responsible and healthy behaviour, please the the famous Sermon on the Mount in the Gospel of Matthew, chapters 5,6 and 7. The essence of his moral code is the highest principle that we also find in the laws of Moses, the Torah: Love God first and love your neighbour as yourself. Jesus Christ lived this highest principe of life. He made it the way of life for himself. He proved his love for people, giving his life as an atonement for sin. John 3:16 is one of the most wellknown verses of the Bible: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him should not perish but have eternal life." He dealt with sin and guilt, giving his life as a ransom, so that man can be free to enter into a living, vital relationship with God, his heavenly Father and start a new life, realising his responsiblity for mankind and this planet. Jesus Christ will show you how to live according to the will of the Creator who appointed us to be stewards of this planet. Really Jesus Christ is the answer to our every need.
I invite you to become a believer in and follower of Jesus Christ. Give Him your heart and open you for this new life. Become a reborn human being through the Holy Spirit of God. Find personal freedom, forgiveness, peace and inner harmony as you give your heart to Jesus Christ. Become a real follower of Jesus Christ and your life can make a contribution to solving the greatest problems of humanity on this globe.
