Global Pastoral Message
< style="font-family: arial;">

One of the most well known and famous proclamations in the Bible is that of the Gospel of John chapter three, verse 16; I quote it from the Revised Standard Version: "For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him, should not perish but have eternal life."

This is surely good news for every man and woman living on this planet. God, the great Creator of the universe and this planet, loves the world, that is the entire human race. It is also means something else: God loves the human race though many people do not desire to know Him intimately and really love Him. It was man's transgression in the beginning that caused him to be spiritually separated from and gradually loosing the vital knowledge of God.

Therefore God sent his Son to show how much He loves each human being. His Son gave himself in a ministry of healing, comfort, truth, righteousness and self sacrifice. He showed himself to be a real Shepherd, a loving Pastor, caring for man's well being and eternal future. Talking about man's eternal future we should understand that this is only safe and secured when man has entered into a relationship with the eternal God. God is the source of life and if detached from Him - as we are by our sinful nature - there is only an eternal existence which must be described as 'death.'

Jesus, man's real Pastor, gave His life to reconcile him to God. He died on a Roman cross, sacrificing his life to atone for man's sin and to remove guilt. Now you can by exercising faith in Christ, the Saviour, accept the forgiveness of your sin. You can clean your conscience and say: "Whatever my wrongdoings are God has forgiven me for Jesus' sake. And if God has forgiven me, I forgive myself. I am entering through faith in Jesus Christ into a spiritual relationship with the Most High God.  Thank you, Jesus Christ, for you gave yourself to make peace with God possible.
